I get such a kick out of this post. Back when the internet was still young, my gallerist told me his only hesitation about putting images of my work online was his concern that someone would appropriate the images, "which might end up on a wine label in Japan." I told him I was totally OK with that.
Hahahaha! I remember hearing some version of that “warning” about artwork and the internet early on, too. I’m just jumping in with both feet here and don’t care. I probably would have done it back in the day, too, had the opportunity presented itself.
